We know that life at school is busy and that planning a camp experience is a lot of work. A well-planned Mount Hermon Outdoor Science experience will support the hard work of teachers and families as well as develop and transform your students.
Our Outdoor Science program operates out of Mount Hermon's Redwood Camp campus, which is in the heart of the redwood forest. Watch this video to get an idea of our location, where we run our programs, where students will be staying, and more!

In all of our classes, we engage in critical thinking, verbalizing evidence, and experiencing information through our relationship-based Naturalist-centered program. Our curriculum is designed to meet Next Generation Science Standards for 5th and 6th grades. Our outstanding field guide is given to every student and each teacher who participates in our program.
